Crozer dental clinic

Responding to two forward thinking dentists who envisaged taking dental care 'to the high street', the project involved the fitting out of a retail shell in a newly refurbished building in Victoria.

The layout evolved from the demand for three treatment rooms, X-ray, waiting and reception facilities to fit into a complex concrete ‘shell’ structure. It aimed to rationalise the seemingly random disposition of the existing columns and to create a plan that divided the space in an efficient and yet relaxed way. The shallow curved wall elements and wide sliding screens provide efficient spatial solutions whilst enhancing the feeling of openness.
