A refurbishment and extension have recently been completed at Hotel San Lucianu on the Eastern coast of Corsica, one of several projects undertaken by the practice for Mark Warner Holidays.

Over the years, the property had fallen behind the quality promise of the client’s holidays and the objective therefore was to bring the interior environment up-to-date, to make it more comfortable and, focusing on the public areas, to expand the opportunity for guests to enjoy their leisure experience. The beach bar was significantly extended – virtually to the seashore – while, inside, the lounge bar was re-designed for intimacy and peaceful relaxation. The main entrance and reception were completely re-worked and the restaurant refurbished.  The introduction of new lighting schemes played a crucial role while new fixtures, finishes and equipment brought a pleasing modernity to the interiors.
